MAGNETIC CLAMPING DELIVERS DIE CHANGE BENEFITS

By | January 21st, 2014|Uncategorized|

Roemheld’s M-TECS magnetic clamping plates provide a wide range of benefits compared with traditional mechanical, hydraulic or electromechanical systems. The M-TECS magnetic clamping system can reduce set-up and changoever times to as little as 2-3 seconds and dies of all sizes can be installed with a single clamp. Roemheld's magnetic clamping system has no moving parts and is basically maintenance-free. The full metal clamping surface of the elements enables users to avoid expensive standardisation of die sizes and clamping edge heights.  The components are suitable for vertical and horizontal use [...]

HIGH CLAMPING FORCE WITH A TWIST FROM ROEMHELD

By | December 19th, 2013|Uncategorized|

The latest addition to the Roemheld quick die range, the hydro-mechanical clamping nut, delivers a high clamping force in a limited space.  This tool clamping element is ideal for whenever clamping up to 150 kN is required without the use of hydraulics. Designed for clamping and locking dies on press beds and rams, the Roemheld hydro-mechanical clamping nut can be manually tightened and released in seconds.  Despite the low torque, a high clamping force is quickly achieved.  A continuous thread means the clamping nut can be used for different clamping [...]
