About Schuler Presses UK
Servicing the pressing industry
Schuler Presses UK Ltd is the largest company servicing the pressing industry in the UK and offers comprehensive sales and services for mechanical and hydraulic presses made by the Schuler Group. Schuler Presses UK Ltd are also the OEM for the Wilkins & Mitchell and Clearing press brands; along with providing service, repairs and overhauls on all other brands.
Their customers include OEM automobile manufacturers and their suppliers, appliance manufacturers, forging companies, the defence industry, the medical industry, electric motor and lamination manufacturers and general metal pressing companies.
1,100-square-metre workshop
The company’s 1,100-square-metre workshop is equipped with overhead cranes with 10 tonnes of lifting capacity. The 70-metre long workshop allows to set up entire press and automation equipment including feed lines and levellers for run off press systems exactly in the same fashion as they will be installed on customer premises.
Due to the many years of Service and Sales experience within the metal pressing industry, Schuler UK is able to provide customers solutions to rebuild and refurbish presses, press components and press automation equipment either in-house in its own facility in Walsall or on site at the customer’s facility.
Spare parts that fit
Schuler UK offers spare parts based on original equipment drawings and manufactures them in England whenever possible. Spare parts according to the original equipment specifications provide optimum performance and durability of the equipment.
Parts are available from stock at short notice are clutch and brake consumables including springs and linings, seals for counter-balance cylinders, die and slide cushions, gears, overloads, driveshafts, cushion cylinders, balance cylinders, slide adjustments, valves, bushes, and many more.
Upgrade for press shops
A wide range of ancillary equipment is available to complement presses or to upgrade and improve press shops: destacking systems, press-to-press automation systems, end-of-line-systems, coil feed lines, tri-axis servo transfer systems, shears, blanking line systems as well as tools & dies.
