MMMA hosting our specialist Metalworking exhibition within MACH 2022, which proved to be a great attraction to visitors throughout the week. Working together with the MTA to deliver the largest and best Metalworking Village over the five days was a resounding success, with some members recording orders within the first morning of opening.

Visitors to the Village were able to see many working presses and associated technologies for the Metalworking Sector. Face to face contact with visitors was very important following the covid restrictions and proved invaluable to both members and visitors, who were more than keen to discuss potential projects and more. All exhibitors were pleasantly surprised at the footfall, from Monday morning onwards it was better than expected.

During the week, many members recorded orders, plus good quality enquiries from New and existing customers. MACH 2022 provided the perfect opportunity to demonstrate new technologies and services. Alongside of our members having a terrific exhibition the MMMA Coffee lounge, the  main hub of the Village was busy with enquiries from companies wishing to explore more the possibility of becoming a member and how it could benefit their company.

We have already started to plan for MACH 2024 with the Village increasing in size to accommodate more opportunity for members to exhibit as the Association continues its growth of members.

“Press-Form Machinery felt Mach 2022 was a huge success. There was a great crowd of people across all 5 days, with interest in our entire product range from new and existing customers.

The exhibition was the perfect opportunity for Press-Form to introduce our new agency Zani Presse and also showcase some new equipment from Haeger and Virtek.”

Worcester Presses – Emily Jackson ‘Internal Sales and Service’

‘Based upon previous MACH exhibitions, Mondays are often the quieter days, however this year, Monday was better than any other MACH Exhibitions we have taken part in since 1998. Tuesday through to Thursday were our busiest days – we gained a lot of new customer contacts and caught up with existing customers. Fridays have also been known as quieter days, although on the Friday morning we received many interests enabling for us to continue the growth of our prospect list. We are currently following up the leads from the exhibition and hope to convert them into significant orders over the next few months. We look forward to MACH 2024!’

Midland Power Press found MACH 2022 an excellent platform to promote our products and services.

The show gave us an opportunity to meet up with existing customers and put a face to a name, as well as meet new potential customers.

We have gained some great new contacts for new suppliers as well as customers, and we are looking forward to forming new relationships with them all.

The MACH exhibition has proven a very successful networking opportunity for our business.

Decade Monitoring Systems; – Robert Nash MD

“It was great to be back at the MACH show in April as part of the MMMA Metalworking Village. After a four-year absence it was inspiring to see the talent, range and capacity for innovation that exists within UK manufacturing. It was exhilarating to introduce new colleagues to the show for the first time. Decade enjoyed presenting the new 180 Series Prototype Process Control Monitor with Touch Screen. Gaining valuable feedback from customers, whilst discussing the benefits that production recording offers to improve productivity and energy efficiency.”

Bruderer UK – Adrian Haller MD

Bruderer have had a very good show at the MACH 2022 and have to say from our point of view the MMMA metal working village was great success.

It was clearly marked and foot fall was good! We had over a 100 good enquires and saw a lot of old and new faces a welcome relief to have face to face meetings and discuss future and positive stories.

If we were to be truthfully honest, we would like a more prominent position within the whole of the show from the Metalworking village point of view where all hall numbers are the same for all the stands added to this we would require to be on the main walk way or nearer the main entrance.

We will be coming again in 2024 and preparation for the stand design has already started as we feel this is platform to showcase what’s new and our technical capabilities is absolutely paramount for the UK manufacturing sector and indeed wider audiences! We look forward to seeing you all there.
