The right grants and subsidies can make already profitable investments in energy-efficient production technologies even more advantageous. AP&T has identified how industrial operators in EU countries can receive up to 30% in government funding to invest in energy-saving technologies.

One of the most effective ways for companies in the sheet metal forming industry to reduce their energy consumption is to replace conventional presses with servo presses. AP&T servo presses provide up to 80 percent lower energy consumption compared to traditional equipment, which translates into significant savings on electricity bills and a faster return on investment.

Support in several European countries

AP&T has analyzed available options for government funding in the Nordic countries, Belgium, and Germany, where incentives for climate action are strong. Focus in the Nordic countries is primarily on supporting the transition from fossil to electric power generation, while Belgium and Germany offer grants for investments in energy-saving technologies.

This is a great opportunity for our customers to reduce their investment costs while also lowering their energy consumption and CO2 footprint,” says Mikael Karlsson, Product Manager Press at AP&T Group.

AP&T assists customers throughout the entire process

AP&T provides assistance throughout the process to make it easier for customers to benefit from available support, from helping them identify relevant support to providing the supporting documentation needed to demonstrate energy savings.

We help ensure that our customers are in the best position to have their application approved by providing the necessary data and documentation, says Mikael Karlsson.

After 60 years in the industry, AP&T continues to be at the forefront of energy-efficient cutting-edge technology. As part of their ongoing commitment to improve on energy efficiency, they are exploring new ways to recover residual heat from press-hardening furnaces, while also developing a battery pack to help balance out peaks in energy consumption.

We also plan to expand to more countries as demand eventually develops. The Nordic countries, Belgium and Germany are just the beginning,” says Mikael Karlsson, Product Manager Press at AP&T Group.
